Kotzhar’s Comeback Gathers Momentum as Yokohama Edges Alvark

In his third game back since returning from the injury list, Mike Kotzhar continued to build momentum, leading the Yokohama B-Corsairs to an 85–83 win over Alvark Tokyo.

After being placed on the injury list on August 27, 2025, and cleared on April 10, 2026, Kotzhar is steadily regaining form. He dominated the paint with 16 points on 7-of-8 shooting and 10 rebounds, providing a stabilizing presence in a game decided in the closing moments.

Seiya Ando added 22 points with five three-pointers, while Damien Inglis contributed 21 in a balanced offensive effort.

Tokyo stayed competitive behind Marcus Foster (17 points, 8 assists), but struggled from beyond the arc (28.6%), ultimately falling just short.
