Brex Rally Late to Edge Gunma in Tight Contest

The Utsunomiya Brex secured a hard-fought 86–82 comeback victory over the Gunma Crane Thunders, fueled by a dominant fourth quarter.

Gunma controlled the early pace, leading 24–21 after the first quarter. However, Utsunomiya stayed within striking distance throughout, setting up a decisive final period.

In the fourth quarter, the Brex erupted for 31 points, executing efficiently in crunch time to overturn the deficit and close out the game.

D.J. Newbill led the way with 26 points, once again demonstrating his elite scoring and playmaking ability (season avg. ~19.6 PPG, 6.4 APG).
Gavin Edwards added 21 points on highly efficient shooting, while Makoto Hiejima contributed 17 points.
