Japan’s rising star Moe Higa delivered a historic performance at the 102nd Japan Artistic Swimming Championships, capturing six gold medals across multiple disciplines and firmly establishing herself as one of the nation’s premier artistic swimmers.

Competing for Team Japan at the Tokyo Aquatics Centre, Higa played a central role in victories across duet, team, and acrobatic events throughout the championships. In the Women Duet Technical Routine Final, Higa and partner Yuka Sato scored an impressive 301.1324 points to claim the title by more than 36 points over the silver medalists from Imura Artistic Swimming Club. The pair continued their dominance in the Women Duet Free Routine Final, once again taking gold with a commanding total of 287.3713 points. Their performance blended dynamic acrobatic elements with refined choreography and musical interpretation, underlining Japan’s world-class standard in duet competition.

Higa also helped lead Team Japan to victory in the Team Technical Routine Final, where Japan recorded 295.3359 points — more than 36 points ahead of second place. The routine featured high-difficulty technical elements executed with remarkable precision and consistency.

In the Team Free Routine Final, Japan once again stood atop the podium with 267.2258 points. The performance highlighted the squad’s speed, synchronization, and expressive choreography, with Higa serving as one of the key figures throughout the routine.

Another gold medal came in the Acrobatic Routine Final, where Team Japan produced one of the most dominant performances of the championships. Japan earned 229.2262 points through a combination of explosive lifts, difficult airborne acrobatics, and near-flawless execution.
